London Borough of Camden v Price-Job - Failure to obtain medical assessment before dismissal is not breach of duty to make reasonable adjustments [2007] EAT
Camden dismissed Mrs Price-Job because of her disability related sickness absence. Camden claimed that any discrimination in this was justified. An employment tribunal held that Camden had failed to make reasonable adjustments (including failing to get a medical assessment) and that, since these may have removed the need for dismissal that, in turn, could not be justified. Camden appealed.
