London Borough Of Hackney v Sivanandan & Others - "jointly and severally liable" and a tribunal's scope to apportion liability

Where "indivisible damage" is caused by concurrent discriminators, an employment tribunal must make them all "jointly and severally liable" for any compensation it awards. This does not preclude respondents seeking just and equitable contributions from each other, but this has no bearing on the right of the claimant to seek their compensation in full from any one of them.
