London Borough of Lewisham v Colbourne - Time limit extension in grievance procedure cases [2006] EAT

This case confirms that an employee's grievance is to be treated as lodged "within the normal time limit" for purposes of Employment Act 2002 (Dispute Resolution) Regulations 2004 reg 15(3)(a) even if lodged before time starts to run. Thus the automatic 3 month extension under that regulation to the normal time limit for loding a tribunal claim applies.
