Lynch v. Bromley Arts Council - new arguments not allowed - EAT 13.2.07
Following a dispute regarding overtime, Mr Lynch and his wife claimed constructive dismissal, citing a breakdown of trust and confidence. They were required to live in a flat at the Bromley Arts Centre. The tribunal rejected on the facts the principal elements of their case, including a claim for 7,770 hours of overtime - worth in excess of £30,000 - spanning four and a half years. The EAT has dismissed an appeal by Mr Lynch.
