Maclellan v Co-operative Group Ltd - Constructive dismissal claim rejected [2006] EAT

Ms Maclellan was a checkout operator at the Coop shop in Creagorry in Benbecula who had been working for the Coop for some 22 years when she resigned in 2003. She claimed to have been the subject of bullying and intimidation, that a deliberate attempt had been made to accuse her of theft, that a subsequent investigation was inadequate and that overall there had been a breach of the implied duty of trust and confidence entitling her to claim constructive unfair dismissal.
