Martin v Microgen Wealth Management Systems Ltd - Late application to amend claim refused [2006] EAT

On the first day of a four day hearing an Employment Tribunal refused Mr Martin's application to amend his claim form. He had been dismissed from his job as a sales consultant by reason of redundancy. He claimed in total over £1m for unfair dismissal, breach of contract and unlawful disability discrimination (he suffered from prostate cancer as well as having diabetes).
