Mrs K Wilson (t/a Reds) v Miss K Lamb - Waiver of breach of contract prevents deduction of wages claim [2007] EAT

Miss Lamb, a trainee hairdresser, worked for Mrs Wilson under a Modern Apprenticeship Agreement (MAA). At the end of her two years training she successfully claimed that the failure by Mrs Wilson to increase her pay in her second year (in line with Learning Skills Council (LSC) requirements) amounted to an unlawful deduction of wages. Mrs Wilson appealed.
