Nationwide Building Society v Niblett  EAT
Unreasonable conduct by an employer does not necessarily destroy trust and confidence.
Mr Niblett resigned from his job as a senior computer systems developer with Nationwide Building Society and claimed constructive unfair dismissal. An employment tribunal agreed with him and the Nationwide appealed.
The EAT has allowed the Nationwide's appeal to the extent that it has remitted the case back for reconsideration by a different employment tribunal.
