Obasa v Buckinghamshire County Council - strike out for violent threats was within EJ's proper discretion

It is within an Employment Judge's discretion to strike out a claim where a fair trial is no longer possible due to the intimidatory actions of a claimant against the respondent's key witness.

Mrs Obasa was employed by Socialwork 2000 to work in the social work area of Bucks County Council (BCC). She brought employment tribunal claims of race and disability discrimination, but at a Pre-Hearing Review (PHR) BCC successfully applied for her claims to be struck out.
