Olasehinde v Panther Securities Plc - Making false and unreasonable accusations can itself amount to a detriment, even when no sanctions are applied [2008] EAT
Mr Olasehinde was the subject of some exaggerated and distorted allegations of sexual harassment. His manager Mr Doyle, who made the allegations, met with him, said he would accept his denials but instructed him not to discuss the matter with the original complainant. Extremely upset, Mr Olashinde did exactly that. Mr Doyle then summarily dismissed him for disobeying his orders.
