Optical Express Ltd v Ms L Williams - Statutory trial period on redundancy is exclusive [2007] EAT

Employment Rights Act 1996 s.138 makes provision for a trial period in a redundancy situation. An employee can try an alternative job but if they leave within four weeks remain entitled to statutory redundacy pay.
