Parmer v East Leicester Medical Practice - Witness immunity & victimisation claims [2011] EAT

Judicial proceedings immunity (under which witnesses have immunity from action for giving false, malicious or careless evidence) applies in proceedings alleging discrimination by victimisation: the ability of a claimant to claim aggravated damages for misconduct of the respondent during the course of discrimination proceedings is no exception to this principle.
