Paterson v The Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis - What are "normal day to day activities" for purposes of the Disability Discrimination Act? [2007] EAT

An employment tribunal found that Mr Paterson, a police officer, was not disabled within the DDA 1995. This was on the basis that although he was significantly disadvantaged, compared with his peers when carrying out examinations for promotion, this was not a "normal day-to-day" activity and so he was not within the DDA 1995 definition of a disabled person. He appealed to the EAT
