Pearce v Receptek - ET reasons must be adequate

Where there are rival viewpoints ET decision must address the question and set out the findings

This is an appeal against an ET decision dismissing a claim for constructive unfair dismissal. The facts concerned the resignation of Mr Pearce in circumstances where it was alleged by him that his employer effectively gave him an ultimatum to leave or be dismissed; Receptek argued that Mr Pearce had become disengaged from the business once he had made a decision to retire and the conversation with him was an attempt to motivate him.
