When does changing a comparator constitute a new equal pay claim? 

When an equal pay claim is amended by identifying a new comparator, that will only amount to the institution of new proceedings (and so become the point from which 6 years' prior losses can be recovered) if the work said to be done by the new comparator was different from that said to be being done by the comparators named in the original claim.
