Q v NUT - restricted reporting orders

This was a preliminary hearing of appeal by "Q" against the refusal by the Employment Tribunal Chairman to grant a Restricted Reporting Order due to Rule 50 of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2004. In light of X v Stevens which broadens the reasons for use of Restricted Reporting Orders.

The EAT made a Restricted Reporting Order in this case and ordered that the preliminary hearing be treated as a full hearing.
