Read v Members of Llanyrafon Community Association - Constructive dismissal: ET applies wrong test [2006] EAT

Mr Read resigned from his job as Club steward in December 2004 after being reported to the police following allegations of cash deficiencies in stocktaking. His claim of unfair constructive dismissal was struck out by the Cardiff tribunal as having no reasonable prospect of success on the basis that "no reasonable Tribunal would find that reporting suspicion of criminal activity to the police constituted breach of any fundamental term by the employer".
