Renfrewshire Council v. Adamson - Withdrawal of concession [2007] EAT

Ms Adamson is a special needs teacher. She claimed she had been discriminated against on grounds of disability (failure to redeploy her and failure to extend her period of sick pay). At one stage the employer, Renfrewshire Council, conceded that she was disabled within the meanding of DDA 1995. They later withdrew that concession. Ms Adamson sought, and was granted leave, (i) to amend her application and (ii) an order restricting the evidence which Renfrewshire should be allowed to call. Renfrewshire appealed.
