Rice v Walker t/a Kitchen Shop - Redundancy, sex discrimination and failure to give reasons EAT
Exeter tribunal dismissed claims for redundancy pay and/or unfair dismissal and/or sex discrimination claims by a redundant employee who refused alternative employment. It set out findings of fact in adequate detail, leading to dismissal of the redundancy pay and unfair dismissal claims. It did not give adequate reasons for dismissal of the sex discrimination claim. The EAT remitted that aspect back for rehearing.
