Robertson T/A 19th Golf Theme Bar v Hendrie  EAT
Mr Hendrie claimed unfair dismissal. His employer 19th Golf Theme Bar (Mr Robertson) had failed to file a response to his claim in the time allowed and the therefore judgment was entered in Mr Hendrie's favour. The employer applied for a review. This was refused and the hearing continued as a remedies hearing (Mr Hendrie was awarded around £7,000) The employer appealed to the EAT against the refusal to allow a review.
