Romec Ltd v Rudham - Disability discrimination and reasonable adjustments [2007] EAT
Mr Rudham suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Following a phased return to work, he suffered a relapse and took further sick leave. His employers, Romec, dismissed him having refused to extend his rehabilitation period. Finding that this refusal amounted to a failure to make reasonable adjustments, the ET concluded that he had suffered disability discrimination and unfair dismissal. The EAT disagreed.
