Royal Bank of Scotland plc v Theobald - strict application of time limits - EAT 10.1.07

Mr Theobald was wrongly advised by the CAB that the statutory dispute procedure appeal process had to be completed before he could file an unfair dismissal claim with an employment tribunal. The appeal procedure was completed 1 day after the end of the 3 month time limit allowed for filing his claim but he did not file the claim for almost another 2 weeks.
