Scott (1) Bush (2) v Epsilon Test Services Ltd - Tribunal's interpretation of contract was fully open to it and not perverse
Tribunal's interpretation of contract was fully open to it and in no way perverse.
Electrical engineers Messrs Scott and Bush challenged the payment to them of bonuses by their employer Epsilon. Their written contracts detailed a basic salary for them, and stated that they would be paid a bonus once the number of appliances they tested each week passed a set figure. That figure was 550, and they were required to test a minimum of 110 appliances each day during their 5 day week.
