Scottish & Southern Energy Plc v Innes - no further investigation required on admission of misconduct

When dismissing an employee for misconduct, an employer will not be required to carry out further investigation to sustain a genuine and reasonable belief in the employee's guilt if the employee himself has admitted the misconduct.
