Shea v Micros Fidelio - Litigant in person may be forgiven for confusing wrongful and unfair dismissal [2011] EAT

An employment tribunal should give "leeway" to a litigant in person. Within limits, such a claimant should not be held to a claim which he insists is "wrongful dismissal" when it is reasonable to interpret his claim form as containing claims for "unfair dismissal" and detriment for whistle-blowing.
