Sinclair v Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust - employer treated vulnerable employee fairly
A disabled employee dealing with the effects of historic sexual abuse was treated fairly by her employer and was not unfairly dismissed.
Ms Sinclair worked for Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust as a Psychiatric Nurse. During her employment she remembered past sexual abuse which meant that she struggled to perform her role with abuse victims. She also suffered injuries in a car accident that amounted to a recognised disability.
