Singapore Airlines Ltd v Guijarro - CMH should ensure medical evidence is in place for tribunal

CMH should ensure there is sufficient evidence for tribunal to consider whether disability is present if the point is not agreed by the parties.

An appeal before HHJ David Richardson finding that the Employment Judge had considered matters that came to light after the key time when assessing whether Mrs Casado-Guijarro was a disabled person for the purposes of the Equality Act 2010. The appeal judgment stressed the need for effective early case management in such matters, particularly when the claimant is a litigant in person as was the case here.
