Software 2000 Ltd v Andrews & ors - Polkey deductions [2007] EAT
An Employment Tribunal at Reading found that 4 employees of Software 2000 Ltd had been unfairly dismissed by reason of redundancy because of various procedural defects.
The tribunal dismissed arguments by the employer that (i) the four would have been dismissed even if proper procedures had been followed and that therefore the dismissals were fair or (ii) at least that there should be a "Polkey" deduction from compensation to take that into account.
