South Tyneside Metropolitan Borough Council v Anderson and others - Equal pay [2007] EAT

Yet another case in the on-going Equal Pay saga which is causing so much anxiety to local authorities up and down the country. Some employees of South Tyneside Metropolitan Borough Council were eligible for productivity bonuses but others were not. Members of the groups eligible for bonus were predominantly but not exclusively male and some 700 female employees brought equal pay claims.
