Finding of fact must support extension of time request

Mr Johnson was employed as Head of Diversity by South Wales Police Authority. He was dismissed for alleged gross misconduct. He claimed race discrimination and/or victimisation. There were 62 separate complaints and the case ran for 20 days. Most of his claims were dismissed save for three claims of direct race discrimination. The employer appealed those three claims and asked for a review in respect of two of them. This was partially successful but one finding still stood.
