Tariquez-Zaman v London Deanery of Postgraduate Medical & Dental Education - Compensation in a victimisation case [2008] EAT
Following failure to get appointed to a GP Registrar post with the London Deanery , Dr Tariquez-Zaman was also rejected by the "National Clearing System". He then won an employment tribunal claim against the London Deanery on the basis that these failures amounted to unlawful victimisation because, a few years earlier, he had brought an unsuccessful claim against the Deanery. This had gone up to the EAT and was one of several claims he had made against variouis bodies.
