Time Off for Learning Representatives
- Trade union learning representatives have a legally enforceable right to paid time off work for fulfilling their duties as such, under TULRCA s.168A and 169.
- A person is a learning representative of a trade union "if he is appointed or elected as such in accordance with its rules".
- The ACAS Code of Practice on time off for trade union duties and activities includes guidance on time off for trade union learning representatives.
