TRW Systems Ltd v Routledge - Disability discrimination and pay during sickness absence [2007] EAT
The EAT has remitted this case back for reconsideration by the original tribunal, essentially because the tribunal, while providing a clear exposition of the facts and law, had failed properly to set out the reasons for its conclusion that Mr Routledge had suffered from unlawful disability discrimination. In the words of the EAT, Mr Routledge had become "disabled as a result of the depression suffered by the sleep patterns which he had encountered" (presumably "suffered" is a misprint for "caused").
