Union Subscriptions

Key Points

  • An employer, employee and trade union may enter into a "subscription deduction arrangement" to provide that the employer may deduct union dues from the employee’s wage at source ( commonly known as a “check off” arrangement).
  • Where such an arrangement exists, there is a special provision to enable that employee to withdraw their request
