Vaseghi v Brunel University - Race discrimination and TU related claim [2005] EAT

The Watford employment tribunal dismissed claims by Prof Saeed Vaseghi against Brunel University. Claims were based on allegations of race discrimination and unlawful detriment by reason of TU membership or activity. The tribunal failed to take into account that discrimination could be subconscious.

The EAT remitted case back to the tribunal.
