Waite v South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Trust - Grievance is needed to enable tribunal to hear whistleblowing claim [2008] EAT

Mr Waite claimed both disability discrimination and also that he had made health & safety disclosures about his work, in particular ambulance driving, and that as a result he had not been promoted. An employment tribunal struck out his claims, on the grounds that he had not lodged a grievance with the Trust and so there was no jurisidiction to hear his complaints. Mr Waite appealed.
