Whitelock & Storr and ors v Khan - sequence in which ET must consider alternative reasons for dismissal

In cases where the reason for the dismissal of an employee is disputed, an Employment Tribunal must first consider the potentially fair reason advanced by the employer, on whom the initial burden of proof falls, and then any possible alternative reasons, including any reasons advanced by the employee.
