YMCA Training v Stewart - Statutory dismissal procedures [2006] EAT

The Ashford Employment Tribunal found that a dismissal was automatically unfair on the basis that the employer had failed to comply with the statutory minimum dismissal procedures required since October 2004. The tribunal found that a letter sent to the employee was not adequate to count as a "step 1" letter.
