Zimmer Ltd v. Brezan EAT - dismissal was automatically unfair for procedural reasons but was not substantively unfair

In unfair dismissal conduct cases the important point is whether dimissal was within the range of reasonable responses open to the employer in reaction to the employee's conduct - sophisticated arguments which lose sight of that basic principle are deprecated.
