Stewart v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions - social security

EC rules require that employed EU and EEA citizens (plus their family members and survivors regardless of nationality) do not lose social security benefits by reason of moving from one EU Member State to another (EC regulation 1408/71 of 14 June 1971 as frequently amended on the application of social security schemes to employed people and their families).
