Chambers-Mills v Allied Bakeries - permission to appeal factual findings granted in exceptional circumstances

Only exceptionally can findings of fact be put in issue on an appeal.

At a Case Management Discussion, following proper notice of the application being made, an employment tribunal struck out Mrs Chambers-Mills' disability discrimination claim on the grounds that her conduct in the proceedings had been unreasonable and she had not complied with orders from the tribunal. Mrs Chambers-Mills appealed.
