Employees whose employment had transferred to a new employer under the TUPE regulations argued that the six month time limit for bringing Equal Pay claims runs from the end of their employment with the new employer. The employers argued that the six month time limit started to run at the end of their employment with the old employer. The Court of Appeal agreed with the employers and this ruling has now been upheld by the House of Lords.
