Cable & Wireless Plc v Muscat - unfair dismissal and agency workers, Court of Appeal 10.03.2006

The Court of Appeal upholds the EAT ruling in this important case - especially important for employers who use agency supplied staff. Confirming its 2004 ruling in Dacas v Brook Street Bureau, the CA makes it plain that an agency supplied worker can be, and was in this case, an employee of the end user for employment law (including unfair dismissal) purposes.
