Saggar v Ministry of Defence - Tribunal looms in ex-army officer's long "Race Bias" fight, Yorkhire Post 12.1.06

Lt Col Saggar won a landmark case in the Court of Appeal on 27th April 2005. This established that whether a claimant was working in Great Britain and so able to make a discrimination claim under the Race Relations Act 1976 depends on consideration of the whole period of his employment, not just the period during which the alleged act of discrimination occurred. Col Saggar's case is now to come before the Newcastle employment tribunal starting on January 23rd.
