Phipps v General Medical Council - leave to appeal refused - Court of Appeal 12.4.06
Mr Phipps, a surgeon, was found guilty of serious professional misconduct by the General Medical Council - he had made significatn misrepresentations when applying for accreditation to qualify as a consultant surgeon in the NHS. His appeal to the High Court was dismissed in July 2005 and the Court of Appeal has now rejected his application for leave to appeal against that ruling.
