Bolton School v Evans - whistleblowing - CA 9.5.06

A school IT teacher hacked into what was meant to be a secure part of the School's IT system to demonstrate failings in the system to his superiors. He had previously warned them that the system was insecure but they had not done anything about it. He was disciplined for the hacking and resigned. He won an unfair constructive dismissal claim at tribunal but lost in the EAT. The Court of Appeal has now given him permission to appeal to it.
