Aziz v CPS - CPS guilty of race discrimination - CA 31.7.06
The Court of Appeal has allowed an appeal by Ms Aziz from the EAT ruling in this race discrimination case. The original tribunal's decision was correct. Ms Aziz, a solicitor, had suffered a detriment as a result of being suspended without any reasonable preliminary investigation of the reliability of a complaint against her and the CPS was in breach of its disciplinary code by not allowing her advice and representation.
