Jones v Bright Capital Ltd. & ors - Construction of documents - High Court 7.12.06

Mr Jones' employment as chief executive with the Old Mutual Group was terminated in December 2003 redundancy grounds. His claims for damages for breach of contract and a declaration as to his pension entitlement resulted in a payment into court and an offer of compromise by Old Mutual. The terms of the offer were complex and one aspect in particular required clarification.
