Athinaiki Chartopoiia AE v Panagiotidis - meaning of "establishment" in relation to collective redundancy rules - ECJ Case C-270/05, 15.2.07

Pursuant to the EC Collective Redundancies Directive 98/59/EC employers have a duty to consult employees before making collective redundancies, defined by reference to the number of workers being made redundant in an "establishment". The ECJ in this case gives further consideration to what amounts to an "establishment".
