Copland v UK - right to privacy - ECoHR 3.4.07

Ms Copland alleged that monitoring of her telephone, e-mail and internet usage by her employer, Carmarthenshire College, amounted to an interference by a public body with her right to respect for private life and correspondence under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. The ECtHR has agreed with her and has awarded her 3,000 Euros plus any tax and 6,000 Euros costs.
